Accommodation in Sydney

The ASCILITE 2022 organising committee suggests the following options for accommodation either within walking distance or a short bus ride from the main campus of the University of Sydney. Hotels can be booked directly through the links supplied or through booking aggregators. Many other options are available should the below choices not suit your needs.

Three-star options

Sydney Central YHA

Sydney Central YHA hostel is Sydney's hostel with everything and the best value choice in the centre of the city. It is housed in a heritage-listed building opposite Central Station. It has panoramic views of Sydney from the rooftop and outdoor area, heated pool, and sauna. Sydney Central facilities include kitchens, laundries, games/TV rooms, locker hire, limited parking, group accommodation/meeting rooms, disabled access, 24 hour security access, YHA Travel desk, free Wi-Fi hotspot (Premium Wi-Fi Plus also available), bistro, convenience store. The new Sydney light rail line stops right across the hostel and the train station is 100 metres away, making it very easy for guests to travel through the city to the Harbour and much further away.
